Neuromuscular Therapy is a muscle specific, results oriented therapy that releases problem areas missed in general massage. Tense, injured muscles can become hypertonic (too tight) and ischemic (lack of oxygen), which increases neurological activity, pain and dysfunction. NMT uses Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release, muscle stripping and static pressure to stabilize the levels of neurological activity, decrease pain and return normal body function and overall health.
The proper functioning of the lymphatic system is critical to the bodys' immune system. The lymphatic system drains stagnet fluids, detoxifies, and filters toxins and foreign substances. This system can be hindered or stopped due to surgery, trauma, burns, infections, swelling, fatigue, stress or age. LDT is a technique aimed at aiding proper functioning of this system by helping to recirculate body fluids; stimulating the function of the immune system and returning balance to the autonomic nervous system. It reduces swellings, inflammation, chronic pain and aids in relief of insomnia, depression and stress.
